Objective 4.1 – Troubleshoot infrastructure issues

For troubleshoot infrastructure we can use some extra tool from vRealize suite such as vRealize Operation Manager and vRealize LogInsight. For manualy troubleshoot we need to know where we can find some information.

First step which we can check if that all services are running. We can do this at Administrator portal for vRealize Automation server

https://server_name:5480

Next we can on same portal check if service run on our servers. On tab vRA Settings –> Cluster we have all servers which make up a cluster

Infrastructure element such as DEM or Prox we can also check on our vRealize portal

On tab Infrastructure –> Monitoring  we have information about DEM

and on Infrastructure –> Compute Resource we have infromation about Proxy

now as we know where we can find information about status of our infrastructure we need to know where we can check logs for help troubleshoot
