Last week there was another conference from the big three of VMware (Empower, vForum, VMworld), namely vForum. VMware hosted its new leaders who spoke about the future. The words of the new CEO that I remember are “this is an era of everything as a service”. The IT world and the VMware strategy are based on Any App on Any Cloud from Anywhere. This allows you to deliver traditional and modern applications with full security. Be it on public, private, hybrid or even Edge clouds.
As most of you already know, because I informed about it recently, I changed my employer to an IT integrator, whose young, only 4-year history, but also the road for now and the future, fits perfectly in the next sentences remembered from vForum spoken by the new CEO Raghu Raghuram “We give our customer the power to control their own destiny”. I control my destiny from the very beginning of my career. It is focused on VMware and VMware-related technologies, and now, thanks to the cooperation with IT Solution Factor, I had the opportunity to participate in Empower this year and a week ago in vForum, which allowed me to increase my knowledge of the latest trends and technical novelties in which VMware invests.
This year, like most events, vForum also took place on-line. The agenda was divided into 5 main areas in which VMware invests – App Modernization, Multi Cloud, Virtual Cloud Network, Anywhere Workspace, VMware Security. We had two breakout sessions and two HoLs from each area. I have been trying to participate in the App Modernization and Multi Cloud sessions for a long time, where I am most interested in the trend and the news that I can receive from VMware. Many additional elements were also delivered online (KeyNotes Session, virtual booths, Social place) as for a one-day event, there was no time to get bored.
The session “Winning in the world of Multi-Cloud with VMware Cloud Universal” led by Mathew Morgan showed how VMware helps organizations migrate or silence applications in the traditional model to move them to the cloud. At present, VMware has over 1,100 Technology Partners, over 20,000 Resellers and over 4,000 Service Providers. As you know, IT Solution Factor as VMware Principal Solution Provider, which is the highest Partner status, can not only help your business in the Multi Cloud area but also in the other 4. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to use the On-Demand session at the moment, so we can make the waiting time pleasant by repeating the best moments
Personally, after vForum, I am already looking forward to this year’s VMworld, which will take place on October 6 – 7 and the motto is “Imagine that”, therefore none of you as well as us, i.e. IT Solution Factor, can not miss an unimaginable dose of knowledge that we will use it for your business.
